"The depth and accuracy of your watercolors draws one into the painting. The red sailboat in the calm cove resembles a sailboat in Kingsland Bay in Vermont that I have had my eye on. The painting is centrally located in our open concept kitchen/dining/living room. It represents summer, calm, and the call of our next adventure.

I had been looking for a way to get a watercolor painting of our little cottage in Rhode Island and stumbled upon Sarah Baskin Art. Reached out and got an immediate response with details about how to proceed. The process was simple - sent Sarah a few photos, had a short phone call – and Sarah was able to turn around a stunning painting VERY quickly (and in time for Christmas). Even got a chance to see a “rough sketch” (which was also pretty fabulous) as part of the process to make sure we were both thinking the same way. My husband’s reaction to his gift was that Sarah beautifully captured the “feel” of the place (quite a feat given she was working with only photos).
